It's not the big things that count in a relationship, it's the little 'extras'.

It's like being attentive to your love. If he/she is speaking, try and listen
to what is said. Don't let your attention wander to the tv, a book or magazine,
or out the window. They might just find someone else willing to listen if your
won't.
Be courteous. Just because they are (presumably) yours, does not mean you
should let down your guard. Saying please and thank you goes a
long way.
Dress for the occasion. Don't be sloppy in your dress one you have him/her.
Keep up with the cleanliness, the makeup, and the hairstyles. If you are a man,
don't give up shaving. A beard is great, but 5 O'clock shadow itches like crazy.
Did you do special things for your love when you first met? Do those things
again, occasionally. Anything that becomes a habit gets old fast. Be original!
Try out new things. A new CD, a new DVD. A new restaurant. Just like when
you first met.
